The Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) led by MP Mano Ganesan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SJB Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa today which underscores the Malaiyaha Tamil Sri Lankan community’s aspirations to be a fully integrated part of the political, administrative, economic and social mainstream of SriLanka.
The MoU which consists of 7 chapters (48 clauses) document represents the Malaiyaha Tamil Sri Lankan community’s aspirations to be a fully integrated part of the political, administrative, economic and social mainstream of Sri Lanka.
This MoU also affirms the immense contribution that the women and men of this Malaiyaha Sri Lankan community have made over two centuries to the economy and general well-being of Sri Lanka, MP Ganesan said on his official Twitter account. (Northeastern Monitor/ August 12/2024)
