Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa declared that he will implement the 13th Amendment to the Constitution in full to resolve issues faced by Tamil people in a future government led by him under Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).
Addressing to the media yesterday (July 15) in Mannar following meeting with MP Selvam Adaikalanathan, leader of Tamil Eelam Liberation Organization (TELO), Mr Premadasa also stressed that he will also take strict steps to prevent Indian fishermen robbing Northern fisheries resources as well.
In addition to this, he claimed that his party has come up with a plan to protect the political, social, economic and human rights of people in the North in a future government led by him.
The visit by Mr Premadasa who already declared that he will contest upcoming Presidential Elections came in the wake of Southern political parties and presumptive candidates visiting North and East frequently in recent months to secure votes.
